As the winner of the Award of Excellence of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2017, Viva Blue House is the first “Conservation first, Community always” Community Participatory Conservation Scheme that restoring the collective memories of Hong Kong people. It recalls the community bond with minimum gentrification and transform the 100-years-old tenemant house into a hub to nurture local art and culture.
